Bromag Industrial Estate want to assure you that we are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation and are following guidance given by the Government.

We are committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff throughout this period.

Our priority is to minimise our Tenants’ and Employees’ exposure to the virus, therefore cleaning within our office and our stores location has been increased throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is maintained.

Currently we have a continuity plan in place to ensure we remain open for business.

We will remain open for the foreseeable future and look towards Government guidance regarding future operation.

About us

We are a General Industrial Estate situated to the west of Witney on the boundary of Minster Lovell with good access to major road routes while enjoying our local countryside.

Bromag Industrial Estate has 38 rentable commercial units from 400 square feet to 27,000 square feet and has both B2 (General Industrial) and B8 (Storage & Distribution) Classifications.

We offer tenancies to suit the entrepreneur giving very flexible terms to allow them to flourish and thrive. Our site is friendly and self-sufficient with many tenants trading with each other and others trading with their own client base.

We offer units in a number of different B Class categories. B1 Class
Many industrial office-type buildings will fit into this category. Class B1 Business Use is for all or any of the following purposes:

  3. for any industrial process, being a use which can be carried out in any residential area without detriment to the amenity of that area by reason of noise, vibration, smell, fumes, smoke, soot, ash, dust or grit.
B2 Class
This class includes most, but not all, 'general industrial' use including manufacturing, engineering, works and machine construction and / or repair facilities. Locations listed B2 will not be placed in or near residential development. Strict controls will be set on the handling of waste products and hazardous materials.

B8 Class
B8 classification covers use for storage and or as a distribution centre.

History

Bromag Industrial Estate is located on the original technical site of the Witney RAF training depot, and was later De Havilland’s repairs and servicing location for Spitfires and Hurricanes between 1939 and 1945.

Bromag Structures Ltd. was established in 1967 and continued to develop a high standard of design and finish in the production of raised storage areas for general storage, offices and production platforms. It offered a complete package service in floors, stairways, lifts, conveyors, cat ladders, fire escapes, partitioning, shelving, racking and trucks until the mid-nineties at which time its activities were absorbed into those of the Industrial Estate.

Location

Our location provides well established road links to the A40 / M40 London corridor as well as easy access to Witney Town Centre and Oxford City Centre.

West Witney has seen much growth in the last five years, specifically in the Industrial Sector. Bromag Industrial Estate remains in a pivotal position as one of west Witney’s oldest Industrial estates.

Security

The cost of criminal damage or theft cannot be underestimated. Apart from the financial loss you will also lose valuable time and resources. Bromag Industrial Estate has developed a security package to provide static SIA registered security, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We have a strong CCTV presence which offers effective crime prevention in conjunction with our on-site security personnel who patrol the entire location.
